A natural aggregate embedded in a layer of resin to provide a decorative, anti slip finish
Resin Bonded Stone creates a highly textured, anti-slip finish with the appearance of ‘loose gravel’ but is fully bonded to the substrate below.
This system is very popular in public realm projects due to its highly decorative, natural and anti-slip features.
It is possible to install large surface areas over a short time frame, minimising the need for joints
A long-term and cost-effective surfacing system compared with other paving options, and is easy to maintain
PRODUCTS FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Durable. Hard wearing and long-lasting, suitable for both pedestrian and vehicular access.
Low maintenance. Easy to clean with only an occasional jet wash.
Textured finish. No loose stones and perfect for areas trafficked by wheelchairs, pushchairs, bikes and small children.
Extensive choice. Wide range of aggregates available to complement the surroundings.
Limited disruption. No need for excavation as with block paving, we can lay over any sound substrate such as concrete and tarmac.
INSTALLATION METHOD
The surface is firstly primed with either concrete primers or pore fillers if laid onto tarmac, this to stop absorption of the Resin into the substrate. A bodycoat of resin is then applied and your chosen aggregate is broadcast into the wet resin and left to cure. Once cured, the surface is thoroughly swept with an industrial sweeper to remove the loose aggregate. To read more follow link below http://coatech.co.uk/commercial/resin-bonded-surfacing
